Selected players demonstrated outstanding character, performance and intelligence while representing Black Rock throughout March.
ABOUT THE MARCH TEAM OF THE MONTH
Owen Greene played with the u18 youth a controlled his box and produced several good saves in a 2-0 win for the team at NEFC. Owen also shared time with the u16 Elite team that weekend as well without conceding a goal for the u17 Premier team in an undefeated weekend.

Rory Iwaneczcko has started his spring season extremely well. Showing a better understanding of his position and doing a great job of taking onboard coaching points and using them to impact the games he played throughout March.
​
Thomas Yegbor displayed a consistent performance as a Left back and was utilized to create many attacking opportunities for his team. Assisted on many goals and was a great attacking option down the flank.
Eamon Moylan scored the game winning goal in game #1 vs LMVSC (VA) from a CK at Jeff Cup. Overall in 7 games he helped get 4 shutouts in 7 games in Vegas and Jeff Cup.

Caleb Besaw continues to show an outstanding attitude toward his personal development & has displayed great versatility with his recent performances for both the 2002 and 2001 boys teams.

Louis Gazo played all games as the #6 was disciplined and decisively broke up play well. Was the linch pin between the defence and the attack.

Kelvin Baffour had an assist vs FC Boulder in Vegas. He scored 2 goals at Jeff Cup vs Inter Atlanta in Final Game

Shakur Mohammed scored 2 goals and had 1 assist in game #2 vs FC Boulder at Vegas, in game #4 he scored 1 goal which was a game winner in Vegas. Shaq scored our first goal in game #1 and had a rocket after juking the kid in game #2 at Jeff Cup. We finished as Finalist in Vegas and Finalist at Jeff Cup going 6-0-1 overall (W-T-L) 5 goals in 2 tournaments.

Eli Araujo scored 2 goals vs World Class in game #2, 1 goal vs NEFC West game #3, (3 goals Total at NEFC).
​
Athi Msiza scored several goals throughout a solid tournament for the u16 Elite team. He dominated the central midfield and our opponents. Team finished as Qtr Finalists 2-0-1 (W-T-L).
​
Dan Rayhill scored a game winner at the Jefferson Cup in Virginia, and grew throughout the month of March in the 3 tournaments he attended.
